On Friday, September 12th, a 39-year-old man lost his life in a car-only collision at kilometre 3 of the CV-872 in the La Murada district of Orihuela.
The call came in at 7:50 a.m., and the Provincial Fire Consortium finished responding at 9:01 a.m. There were eight firefighters sent to the location. When they arrived, they made an unsuccessful attempt to use cardiopulmonary resuscitation to revive the injured man.
Only his death has been confirmed by the SAMU unit’s medical team, which was dispatched by the Emergency Information and Coordination Centre.
The deceased was the only person in the automobile when it went off the road and struck a bank, and the Civil Guard is looking into the possible causes of this catastrophe.
