Firefighters from the Alicante Provincial Consortium extinguished a fire that broke out within an industrial warehouse in Crevillent, damaging one of the facades of the Catxapets Industrial Estate.
According to Consortium sources, there were no workers inside when the fire broke out.
The fire started internally and spread to one of the facades, but prompt action saved more damage and a possible collapse of the structure.
The fire, which was reported at 10:58 a.m. on Sunday, September 14th, and was under control by 1:00 p.m.
The operation involved eight firemen from the Crevillent and Elche fire stations, a heavy urban fire department, and numerous commanders.
