Members of the Alicante Provincial Fire Consortium used a helicopter to rescue a man who was injured after falling from his paraglider in the Biscoy mountain range near Ibi.
The incident occurred yesterday Friday, September 19th, and firemen were notified at 6:35 p.m. The CPBA Mountain Rescue Group was called to the scene, according to the Consortium.
Two rescuers and medical professionals from the Alfa 1 aircraft arrived and stabilised the injured guy before transporting him on a stretcher to the Generalitat’s Alfa-9 medical helicopter.
