Orihuela City Council has issued a tender for the 2025 Halloween event in the city centre and along the shore, with a total expenditure of €46,570.96 including VAT.
The contract is being processed using a shortened, abridged open procedure and divided into two lots. Interested companies can submit proposals through the internet portal until October 3rd.
Lot 1 relates to the Halloween celebration in the centre of Orihuela, with an estimated value of 24,880.40 euros (30,105.28 euros including VAT), and Lot 2 will take place in Orihuela Costa, with an estimated value of 13,608 euros (16,465.68 euros including VAT).
According to the specifications, the activities will take place on October 31st, 2025, in the afternoon and will end at 9:00 p.m. Downtown’s Gabriel Miró Roundabout will host slime, craft, and face-painting classes, as well as laser tag, inflatables, a themed train, and a horror photocall. In addition, there will be a procession featuring batucada groups, dancing, musical floats, and performers dressed as vampires, mummies, witches, and Freddy Krueger, among others.
The event will take place between Calle Capricornio and Escorpio in Orihuela Costa, and will include children’s workshops, face painting, a photocall, laser tag, inflatables, and a nocturnal parade down Calle Escorpión including batucadas, a dancing ensemble, extras, and a music system.
The contract requires the winning company to ensure the security of all facilities, have civil liability insurance, and have the requisite technical staff, monitors, and coordinators. Furthermore, the specifications define price as the primary reward factor, with extra points provided to bids that include more horror characters than the minimum required for each lot.
