National Police officers arrested a 47-year-old man in Orihuela for allegedly committing a burglary after forcing his way into five storage rooms at a building to steal from within.
The owners reported the incident, stating that the locks on the doors to the five storage rooms located on the rooftop had been forced open.
According to their accusations, the culprit must have obtained entry through the nearby buildings’ roofs, as there was no evidence that the terrace’s entrance door had been forced.
Following the complaint, the Scientific Police and a police unit conducted a visual search of the location, discovering on one of the nearby rooftops a guitar stolen from one of the storage rooms.
Forensic police officials examined the evidence discovered at the site and identified a man as the suspected robber. Judicial police officers from the police station continued the probe.
Finally, following investigations that implicated the person mentioned in the reported events, a police team conducting citizen security operations spotted and apprehended him in a public square. He was taken before a court when the police investigation was completed.
