A homeless man in Valencia has been arrested by the National Police for allegedly killing another man after beating him with an umbrella during an argument over where to spend the night, according to police sources.
According to sources, the event occurred on Sunday, September 28th, at around 10:30 p.m. in Plaza Viriato in the Valencian city, presumably as a result of an altercation between the two because one intended to spend the night in the doorway of a house where the other had decided to stay.
According to the same sources, the inquiry led the Valencia Provincial Brigade’s Homicide Unit to arrest the alleged assailant seven hours later, at 5:30 a.m. on Monday, for homicide. He appeared in court yesterday, Wednesday October 1st.
