A dispute between two families occurred in the Alicante municipality of Petrer, injuring six persons, including two Local Police officers, according to the force’s Facebook page.
According to a source, a fight took place on Calle Pío Baroja, involving “five adults from two different family groups,” who utilised a mobile traffic signal and stones.
According to the aforementioned source, “two Local Police officers were injured, as well as four of the participants, who suffered injuries of varying severity and required medical attention,” during the intervention.
“All those involved filed charges against each other, and the appropriate police actions were taken, including the officers taking one person to another address,” according to this individual’s source.
According to him, “thanks to the swift joint intervention of the National Police” as well as “Petrer Local Police,” with “the extraordinary support of the Elda Local Police, what could have led to a fight with much more serious consequences was avoided.”
