The Guardia Civil is still looking into the case of Marc Tulloch Hewson, a 63-year-old man who went missing on September 19th, 2025, near the Torrevieja University Hospital.
He was last seen that day in long black sweatpants, a T-shirt with “The Beatles” written in white letters, a brown cap, and black trainers.
The investigation has been led by the Torrevieja Guardia Civil Territorial Judicial Police Team since it started. After a lot of work, there are signs that the missing man may have been around the Jardín del Mar I and Laguna Salada residential districts of Torrevieja on the morning of September 20th. At the time, he had on black shorts, no shirt, and no shoes. This part of town is more than six kilometres north of the health centre.

The search has proceeded with a thorough search of residential areas in Torrevieja where the missing person was seen, as well as in nearby Orihuela Costa. This has involved interviewing residents and working with the Torrevieja and Orihuela Local Police.
The National Missing Persons Centre has released Marc Tulloch Hewson’s picture and other physical characteristics in order to get people to help find him. He is 1.75 metres tall, weighs 70 kilogrammes, and has straight blond hair, blue eyes, and a thin body.
The Civil Guard asks the public to let them know if they know anything that could help.
