Aside from fires, car accidents, and other disasters, firemen sometimes have to deal with strange things. The one in Murcia early Tuesday morning, October 7th, was the strangest of all.
People who lived near a school in Javalí Viejo, Murcia, had to listen to the traditional “Cumpleaños Feliz” song for more than five hours.
The song had been playing on a loop on the speakers that looked out over the school’s courtyard since 11:00 p.m. because of a mistake or maybe a prank. The song didn’t stop until 4:30 a.m., when the Murcia Fire Department stepped in.
After people complained about hearing “Cumpleaños Feliz” for more than five hours, a fire squad was sent to the school to turn off the PA system.
“We didn’t want to ruin anyone’s birthday, but… It wasn’t time!” quipped the Murcia Fire Department’s social media account about the strange circumstance.
