The Alicante Provincial Fire Consortium (CPBA) said that a truck driver was hurt after his truck hit another truck early yesterday morning, Wednesday October 22nd, on the A-7 motorway near the exits for the towns of Albatera and San Isidro.
Around 5:50 a.m., the accident was reported, and the response finished around 8:30 a.m. After two trucks crashed, fire services and medical staff went to the scene.
One of the trucks was left in the middle of the road, and the firefighters who came to help had to get the injured driver out of his truck, where he was stuck. After that, the medical staff took care of him.
The CPBA has sent firefighters from the Crevillent, Elche, and Orihuela fire stations to help in this operation. They have also sent a command headquarters unit (UMJ), a heavy urban fire engine (BUP), and two rescue vehicles (FSV).
