A 19-year-old woman was found dead yesterday, Sunday October 26th, in a house in Librilla, a town in Murcia with about 6,000 people. The Guardia Civil found the body inside the building after receiving a tip-off. The Guardia Civil think it was a gender-based murder.
The Guardia Civil then stated that they had arrested a man who was the young woman’s boyfriend. They said they were investigating the case as a gender-based murder, despite no prior claims of gender-based violence. Local news says that the girl resided in the block with her partner.
