Mercadona is looking for staff to work two days a week for 632 euros plus bonuses

Mercadona is hiring more people to work for them. Juan Roig runs the Valencian grocery chain, which is always trying to make the shopping experience better for customers. One way they do this is by hiring more people across Spain.

The company does this by posting a variety of job positions on its new recruitment platform, which was introduced last July and is customised to each person’s needs. In this regard, and just before the Christmas season, Mercadona is posting job openings in numerous parts of the company, including stores, logistics centres, Mercadona online, Mercadona IT (technology), and offices.

For delivery drivers, the most typical prerequisites are a Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) certificate and a driver’s license that has been valid for at least a year. In addition, the organisation looks for applicants who share its values and have a strong desire to learn, but it also demands certain skills for each position.

Mercadona is hiring people to fill open positions that pay between €1,685 for 40 hours a week and €948 for 22.5 hours a week (3 days a week) and €632 for 15 hours a week (2 days a week). They just need people that are excited about and committed to the firm.

The supermarket company is also looking for part-time staff to work four hours a day for up to €1,140 a month. This isn’t the only employment offer they’ve made recently. The work week is twenty hours, spread out over three to five days, depending on what each store needs. Shifts for these positions are rotating between morning and afternoon. With a permanent contract, salaries range from €843 to €1,140 per month.

It’s important to know that Mercadona supermarkets usually have workweeks of 15, 20, or 40 hours. These shifts can be set in stone or changed, and the pay for 15 hours is between €632 and €855, for 20 hours between €843 and €1,140, and for 40 hours between €1,685 and €2,280.

Some of the jobs in supermarkets include retail staff (cashiers, sales assistants, stockers, etc.), delivery drivers, maintenance technicians, maintenance assistants, and refrigeration technicians, to name a few. The gross monthly salary for full-time workers is €1,685.

First-year employees at Mercadona work 40 hours a week and get a gross monthly compensation of €1,685. Employees make a total of €2,280 gross per month after four years of work.
