The Murcia Local Police are looking for the driver who hit a young woman on an electric scooter in the capital of the Region and then drove away.
The accident happened at 2 p.m yesterday, Thursday December 3rd. The young woman was in the lane for personal mobility vehicles when a car hit her and the driver didn’t stop to help The young woman collapsed to the ground and couldn’t get up.
Police officers from Murcia, notably from the motorbike squad, were sent to the area, along with an ambulance that wasn’t needed. The woman, on the other hand, couldn’t move and stayed on the street, weeping and showing symptoms of discomfort. She was awake, which was good.
It was asked that an ambulance with paramedics take the girl to the hospital for a more comprehensive checkup.
The 061 paramedic in the non-emergency ambulance chose to take the stretcher out of the car because of the delay and the woman’s pain. According to this newspaper, police officials and a witness helped him put the young woman on it so she could get to the hospital as quickly as possible. They took her to the Morales Meseguer Hospital.
“It’s shameful; she’s been lying in the street for more than half an hour,” a woman said, talking about how long it took for the ambulance to arrive.
