On Saturday, December 6th, a woman in Santiago de Compostela died when a refrigerator fell on her. The National Police are looking into the domestic tragedy.
The 112 emergency service in Galicia said that a relative of the victim called a few minutes before 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and asked for immediate medical help for his sister, whose leg was stuck beneath the refrigerator in a house on Calle Ramón Cabanillas.
It was also noted that the person wasn’t responding to stimuli, thus the management of the emergency centre sent the information to the Galician Health Emergency Service-061.
Not long later, they confirmed the woman’s death and said that the National and Local Police needed to go there to find out what happened.
“Similarly, it is necessary to follow all legal steps to find out the exact causes of death,” 112 said.
