On Christmas Day, Thursday December 25th, the Guardia Civil stopped two boats with a total of 58 persons on board. There were 39 men, 18 children and one woman on board. The boats were at Playa Larga in Cartagena and Los Hierros beach in Lorca.
The Government Delegation in the Region of Murcia said that the migrants were healthy.

They were sent to the Temporary Foreigners’ Assistance Centre (CATE) in Cartagena, where the Red Cross helped them.
