The Torrevieja Symphony Orchestra (OST) has already organised the programme for the 2025/2026 season, which was announced during an event held in the hall of the Torrevieja International Auditorium by the Torrevieja City Council’s Councillor for Culture, José Antonio Quesada, and Mamen Mateo, president of the Musical and Cultural Association ‘Ars Aetheria’, as representative of the Torrevieja orchestra’s managing entity.
During the presentation, both emphasised the OST’s artistic quality, cultural commitment, and position as a major symphonic reference in southeastern Spain. The new season, which runs from October to May, will feature five concerts with stunning and diverse offerings aimed at attracting both music lovers and new listeners.

2025/2026 Season Programming
October 11, 2025: ‘Broadway Symphonic’
The season begins with a spectacular mix of classic Broadway musicals, featuring symphonic arrangements by renowned composer Pedro Contreras. A voyage through the emotion, intensity, and spectacular character of American musical theatre, led by guest conductor Adolfo Arronis.
January 3-4, 2026: 16th New Year’s and Three Kings’ Day. Gala Dances 2026′
The tradition continues with the double-set New Year’s and Three Kings’ Day extravaganza, which features some of the most legendary dances in music history. Conducted by guest maestro Leonardo MartÃnez.
February 14, 2026: ‘Romantics’
An evening of romantic classical music. Virginia MartÃnez conducts works by Glinka, Fauré, Tchaikovsky, and Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto, featuring soloist Antonio GarcÃa Egea.
March 28, 2026: ‘Carmina Burana’ by Carl Orff
The OST, in collaboration with the Torrevieja Department of Culture, presents one of the most outstanding pieces in the symphonic-choral repertoire: Carmina Burana. Armando Bernabéu conducted the performance, which featured soloists RocÃo MartÃnez (soprano), José Manuel DÃaz (baritone), and José Vicente Campello (countertenor). The Orfeón Voces Crevillentinas (dir. Isabel Puig), the Francisco Vallejos Choir (dir. Belén Puente), and the Torrevieja Municipal vocal School (dir. Selena Cancino), director of the Selena Cancino vocal ensemble, will all perform.
On May 23, 2026, guest conductor Iván Palomares and pianist Francisco Fierro will perform Johannes Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 1 and Symphony No. 1 as the season’s grand finale. Tickets and season passes will be available soon at the usual places of sale.
The Torrevieja Symphony Orchestra is solidifying its position as a cultural driving force in the community. With an ambitious program, Torrevieja City Council endorsement, and ongoing public support, the OST reinforces its status as a must-see event for classical and symphonic music enthusiasts.
