Benidorm’s Christmas programme begins this Saturday, November 29th, with the Beninadal 2025-2026, which features lights, a market, special decorations, and a Christmas atmosphere ideal for a winter getaway.
If you prefer something a little quieter and more rural, there is a Christmas market in Pego called the Fira de Nadal de Pego on Saturday that includes crafts, music, sweets, and locally grown produce.

Culture, Concerts, and Flamenco in Coastal Cities
Flamenco shows are held at the Castillo de Santa Barbara as part of the Flamenco en el Castillo cycle in Alicante, with free performances on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th at 1:00pm, making it an excellent choice for combining culture, history, and a good atmosphere.
Further north, in one of the inland towns, the XIV Orxeta Gastronomic Fair will be held from November 28th to 30th, featuring theatre and tastings of local products: ideal for those who enjoy nature and the area’s traditional flavour.
There are also exhibitions, theatre, and various cultural events in towns in the Marina Alta and surrounding areas, ranging from visual arts to plays, which are ideal for those looking for a more relaxed and cultural itinerary.

In short, this weekend on the Costa Blanca is packed with light, culture, and options for everyone’s taste, from Christmas plans and free shows to gastronomic fairs and quiet getaways in the interior. Whether you want a festive atmosphere, live music, or simply to disconnect from the sea and the mountains, you’ll find something for you. A perfect weekend to relax and rediscover why this Mediterranean strip remains one of the most vibrant winter destinations.
