Guardamar del Segura Earthquake

This morning, Friday November 28th, at 06:27 many residents in Guardamar del Segura, Alicante were woken by a 1.5 magnitude earthquake.

Earthquakes are common in this area but rarely cause structural damage but are also a worry since nearby Torrevieja was destroyed by a massive earthquake in 1829.

There are no reports of damage, and the epicentre was out to sea.
