This weekend, we decided to treat our pups (and ourselves) to something a little different – a visit to ‘Worlddog’, which is a dog pool designed just for your four-legged fur babies and the perfect way for them to cool off in this summer heat! The place was full of wagging tails, splashing paws and soaking wet dogs who were living their best lives. This was my 4-month-old mini dachshund’s first time in water, and she loved it! We’ve also taken our rescue before and just knew we needed to go back. Watching them paddle, chase and shake off every five seconds made for one of the most joyful afternoons we’ve had so far this summer, and we can’t wait to take them back!
Also located in the premises is a shaded grass area with tables, chairs and umbrellas so you can remain cool, or, of course, the pool is absolutely big and deep enough for you to take a swim with your fur babies. Equally, you’ll find toilets and a mini bar where you can purchase snacks, drinks and, of course, ice cream! It doesn’t stop there either; also being sold are treats and food for the doggies.

Worlddog is an absolute must-visit hidden gem, whether you’re looking to exhaust a hyperactive puppy, introduce a young dog to the water, or simply enjoy a special day out as a dog-loving family. It’s a whole experience designed with dogs (and their humans) in mind, not just a splash park. There’s no better way to beat the heat, create memories, and depart with contented, dripping tails and contagious smiles now that summer has arrived.
