Two men, aged 72 and 75, have been hurt with chest contusions after suffering a car collision at km 24 of the A-70 in Alicante.
Around 12:30 yesterday, the call was received by the Emergency Coordination Centre (CICU). A SAMU ambulance was summoned to the location.
The two men where transferred to Alicante General Hospital.
The roads in the province had suffered several incidents throughout the day. The right lane has been narrowed in the afternoon due to an accident at kilometre point 175 of the A-31 near Villena, which is heading towards Elche. According to the General Directorate of Traffic, traffic on this road has returned to normal at around 7.30pm.
