Today, February 25th, the National Police had to step in at the Alicante-Elche airport to restrain a hostile tourist. A 58-year-old British national was discovered in a semi-conscious state at the Alicante airport’s Security Control Centre (CSEG) at 12:40 p.m.
Staff say he was in a “aggressive state” even while on the stretcher, therefore the medical services have asked the police to be present. According to the same sources, the visitor was sent to the General University Hospital of Elche following examinations.
The British traveler was reportedly waiting at the airport to take a flight back home, but he was unable to do so due to his condition.
