A Calpe estate agent is facing a three-and-a-half-year prison sentence from the Public Prosecutor’s Office for allegedly scamming two brothers while building two homes in a nearby housing complex in the municipality of Peñón de Ifach reaches the Alicante Court seven years later.
The prosecution claims that the incidents began in February 2018 when the parties agreed to pay a total of 540,000 euros apiece to build the dwellings. The accused received the money without carrying out his end of the bargain after the aggrieved parties paid 290,000 euros for the job before the construction process started.
