A head-on collision between two cars at kilometre 1 of the CV-91 in Orihuela injured three people yesterday, Thursday May 29th, around 1 p.m.
The accident necessitated the participation of firefighters, who had to liberate someone trapped inside one of the cars. The troops remained on the site until 2:20 p.m., after which the Emergency Information and Coordination Centre (CICU) dispatched a medical helicopter, a SAMU unit, and two Basic Life Support (BLS) units.

Three people were hurt and treated by medical personnel. Medical personnel airlifted a 56-year-old man who sustained multiple injuries to Doctor Balmis General Hospital in Alicante.
