Court is trying the president of a Torrevieja homeowners’ association accused of misappropriating 94,300 euros

This morning, Thursday June 5th, the president of a community of Torrevieja residential development owners and two administrators will face charges of misappropriating more than 94,300 euros.

The Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community (TSJCV) has scheduled the trial to begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Eleventh Section of the Provincial Court of Alicante.

The events occurred between 2009 and 2012, and the three defendants reportedly retained the money by issuing bearer promissory notes for unjustifiable costs. The Prosecutor’s Office is initially seeking a two-year prison term for each of them for fraud.
