The Costa Blanca shines this weekend with a vibrant blend of culture, sport, and tradition. Both locals and tourists will find a unique way to celebrate early summer along this breathtaking Mediterranean coastline, from the exhilarating wingfoil races in Dénia to the vibrant Moros y Cristianos reenactments in Moraira, plus live music near historic castles and street markets in Cartagena.
In light of this, I’ve decided to choose a few events that are taking place in and around the Costa Blanca today and share them with you.

I don’t know about you, but I’m a foodie, so it seems only fitting that I begin by discussing Cartagena’s street food markets. This weekend, from June 13th to 15th, the city’s second iteration of its well-liked street food event will take place in Paseo del Puerto. A vibrant array of food trucks, design market stalls, and cultural entertainment by the sea is available, and admission is free. With kid-friendly storytelling, a family magic show, and a children’s clown show culminating in a queen tribute by the incredible “Keeng” at 1:30 pm, this is a must-see for the whole family.
The “Montogorock Festival” will take place in Javea from June 14th to June 15th if you’re also looking for live music this weekend. Montogorock Javea is a national rock festival that takes place in the summer. Anticipate lively, energetic performances.

Perhaps a guided catamaran cruise around Altea Harbour would be of interest to you as well. Running every day but most popular on a weekend. Jet ski rentals, swimming outings, and sunset excursions. The ideal peaceful and picturesque experience on Spanish waters. (Remember to bring lots of sunscreen, though!)
Returning to the musical aspect, the Moraira music festival will take place on June 14th and 15th starting at 6:00 p.m. next to Moraira Castle. The celebrations of Moors and Christians are accompanied by a lineup of varied acts. reportedly providing a lovely musical setting for the cultural festivities taking place over the weekend. For those looking for a mix of modern entertainment and history, this is ideal.

Finally, for those who enjoy sports, there is a national and international wingfoil athletes competition along the Denia coastline from June 13th to June 15th. combining traditional surfing, windsurfing, and kitesurfing. This weekend, you have the option to participate in exhilarating speed races! This is a great family-friendly event with perfect winds and easy coastal viewing.
The Costa Blanca is bustling with activity this weekend, whether your craving is for street-food feasts by the sea in Cartagena, centuries-old customs in Moraira, or the rush of the waves in Dénia. There’s never a better time to discover the region’s many attractions, including lively village fiestas, live music, and artisan markets.
