A two-year-old boy was transported from Ontinyent to the LluÃs AlcanyÃs Hospital in Xà tiva after being struck by a vehicle. The event happened on Avenida Ramón y Cajal in Ontinyent, when a toddler in a pram was crossing a zebra crossing with his family near the intersection with Calle PÃo XII and Calle Músico Vert.
According to eyewitnesses, the child remained aware following the hit and was originally treated by doctors at a health centre near the incident site.
Following the notification, 112 dispatched a SAMU unit, whose medical team treated the 2-year-old youngster for multiple injuries before deciding to transport him in an advanced life support ambulance.
