A 61-year-old man perished in a house fire in San Javier, Murcia, on Tuesday morning, June 24th.
According to the Coordination Centre for Emergency 112 Region of Murcia.
At 00:48 hours, the emergency services received multiple calls reporting an incident at a residence. The incident was attended by police patrols, firefighters from the Fire Extinguishing Consortium and Rescue of the Region of Murcia, ambulances with staff, and a health worker from Emergency and Urgency Management 061.
Firefighters pulled a man from the residence
The 061 health staff provided treatment to an injured, unconscious, and experiencing cardiorespiratory arrest person. Despite resuscitation efforts, he eventually died.
The fire was suppressed at 02:37 hours, and firefighters left the scene, according to 112 Region of Murcia.
