In recent weeks, the Aspe City Council has hired five new Local Police officers, demonstrating its dedication to its inhabitants’ safety and well-being. This approach not only boosts the total number of police officers, but it also injects new energy and specialised knowledge into the police force.
This addition reinforces surveillance patrols, enabling a heightened police presence on the streets, especially in high-traffic areas and during critical times. It also improves incident response capabilities and residents’ perceptions of security.
The mayor of Aspe, Antonio Puerto, stressed the significance of this reinforcement. “Security is a priority for our administration, and the addition of these officers is a significant step in our strategy to ensure a safe and secure environment for all our residents.”
