Flames devour at least two boats in the second fire in the port of Dénia in four days

A fire broke out late Sunday night, June 29th, at the El Portet marina in Dénia, affecting at least two boats. The fire started shortly after 11 p.m. and is the second in the city’s harbour in four days. Last Thursday morning, June 26th, flames ignited a catamaran being repaired in the dry dock adjacent to the northern breakwater.

The second fire was impacting two boats moored at the Portet docks, near the fish market. The flames were still burning at 11:45 p.m., as evidenced by the videos, which show a dense column of black smoke.
