Federico Alarcón, Torrevieja City Councillor for Police, says that starting yesterday, regulated parking on Ramón Gallud Street will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a maximum of two hours allowed. Parking will be regulated by a licence plate scanner provided by the Local Police. Federico Alarcón has said that from next Monday, July 7th, anyone who fails to comply with displayed signs will be penalised by Local Police personnel outside of these hours.
This regulation is meant to allow citizens to conduct business in the city centre within a two-hour timeframe; if they exceed it, they will be penalised.
