A man died on Tuesday evening, July 15th, in Torrevieja from a heart arrest on the Juan Aparicio coastal promenade, near the well-known natural pools. Around 8:00 p.m., someone reported a cardiac arrest in the middle of a busy street.
The medical crew quickly rushed a SAMU unit to the scene and promptly began cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Despite their efforts, the man, whose age has not been disclosed, did not respond to the manoeuvres and was subsequently declared dead at the scene.
The incident, which occurred in a popular tourist destination during the summer, generated quite a stir among bystanders and bathers.
