One dead and one injured after a car overturned and caught fire in Fortuna

According to 112, an 18-year-old man was injured and another guy in his 30s died in a traffic collision early yesterday morning, Thursday July 17th, on the RM-423 highway, which runs through the municipality of Fortuna in the Region of Murcia.

At 02:38, a driver called 112 emergency services to report an overturned and burning automobile. The Local Police, Guardia Civil, firefighters, and an ambulance were called to the scene.

A local resident contacted 112 15 minutes later, reporting that a young man had come to his home and asked for assistance. The 18-year-old injured man was treated on the scene and taken to hospital.

The other occupant of the vehicle, a male in his 30s, was declared dead at the scene.
