The Javea Council urges residents and visitors to exercise responsibility and reminds them that it is strictly prohibited to jump into the sea in unauthorised areas.
These practices have the potential to cause extremely severe or even irreparable accidents, as they involve changing conditions, strong currents, and concealed obstacles that pose a significant risk to the physical integrity of those involved.
Additionally, the council has identified the deliberate removal of certain information signs that were installed to alert the public to the prohibition of these jumps and the genuine hazard they present. The City Council strongly recommends not removing or tampering with these, as they serve a fundamental preventive purpose.
They request that you refrain from jumping in unauthorised areas and that you adhere to the established rules, particularly for the safety of each individual. The preservation of life and safety must be prioritised above all other factors.
