The Emergency Information and Coordination Centre (CICU) has confirmed that a 34-year-old woman passed away after falling from a boat. The woman sustained multiple trauma, cardiac arrest, and different types of projectile injuries to her face and neck.
The incident took place in the Cala Portitxol area of Javea (Alicante). The CICU (Centre for Emergency Medical Services) received the call and a SAMU (Medical Emergency Unit) and a Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance were dispatched to the location.
The victim experienced cardiac arrest, multiple trauma, and propeller wounds to the face and neck. During the transport to Dénia Hospital, the victim was revived by the Emergency Medical Services (SAMU) in the performance of advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Nevertheless, the woman suffered cardiac arrest and passed away upon her arrival at the hospital.
