Loud music, partying in an attic at night, and ignoring police calls. This was the behaviour of a home owner in El Campello, who did not expect a drone to record him breaking the city’s anti-social guidelines.
The incident occurred early yesterday morning, Monday September 15th, when police arrived to a home about 4:30 a.m. after receiving many reports from neighbours about disturbances that were keeping them awake.
According to municipal authorities, the El Campello Local Police Headquarters got up to six phone complaints from local homeowners reporting a “noisy” party that was causing a nuisance so late at night.
“You haven’t seen anything,” he informed the agents.
When they arrived, they discovered a party in an attic that was “causing enough noise to warrant complaints.” ” When the patrol arrived, the individual in charge flatly refused to identify himself, alleging, “You didn’t see anything.” He was unaware that the drone had already captured the scene.
Following repeated fruitless attempts to get police entrance to the building, it was decided to use the drone to determine the exact position of the home.
Partygoers looked out of the attic into the street, attempting to avoid detection and, of course, failing to answer to police calls.
Leaning out and yelling
Soon after, the terrace lights were turned off, and a man appeared. The officers requested him to identify himself, but he said, “I’m not going to identify myself because you haven’t seen anything,” according to the same sources.
However, the drone footage is definitive. The homeowner’s full identification has been requested, and he will face a complaint in the coming days for generating a disturbance, disrupting the neighbours’ sleep, and refusing to identify himself.
The lighting, balloon decorations, and music suggest a birthday party, which will come at a high cost to the person who violated the laws of cohabitation.
