In the last several hours, there have been a lot of accidents on the Marina Alta’s roads. The CV-740 road, which connects this town to Poble Nou de Benitatxell, had the most deaths. Two cars crashed on the road early Monday morning, October 6th, in Javea.
The CICU said it got word of the crash at 1:10 a.m. and sent out a SAMU unit, two BLS units, and a regular ambulance right away.
Five women, all between the ages of 21 and 28, received medical care. The 21-year-old woman was sent to the Marina Baixa Hospital in La Vila Joisa because she had a broken pelvis and hurt her stomach. The rest were taken to Dénia Hospital. A 22-year-old woman had a broken femur, while three other people, ages 22, 24, and 28, had various bruises.
The third accident
This is the third collision in the Marina Alta area in just a few hours. On Sunday night, there was a head-on crash on the Les Rotes road in Dénia, close to where it meets the route to Javea. Earlier in the morning, a car left the AP-7 near Pedreguer and hurt two more people.
