112 handled more than 800 incidents related to rain and storms in the Region of Murcia

The 1-1-2 Emergency Coordination Centre in the Murcia Region has gotten 973 calls on 806 problems relating to the weather advisories.

Most of the requests were for pumping water out of homes or businesses (155), rescuing people (106), or roadblocks that made travel difficult (16). Also, 169 calls from people asking for information about the recorded rainfall and storms were addressed.

San Javier has had the most cases (266), followed by Cartagena (111), Murcia (109), Torre Pacheco (62), San Pedro del Pinatar (53), Los Alcázares (36), and La Unión (15). All of the recorded events have not been serious.
