The Emergency Coordination Centre said that an 86-year-old man died on Tuesday, October 14th, after falling into a ravine at Los Puertos, Cartagena.
At 3:06 p.m., the dead man’s son called 1-1-2 after finding his father had fallen into the ravine.
Civil Protection workers, firefighters from the Fire and Rescue Consortium, firefighters from the Cartagena City Council’s Fire and Rescue Service, Local Police, and an ambulance with paramedics from the 061 Emergency and Health Management Department all went to the scene to confirm the death.
The Guardia Civil is in control of the man’s body until the coroner gets there.
