The TRAM d’Alacant metropolitan tram service will run a special night service on Friday, the 31st October, until about 3:00 a.m. on Saturday morning to help with the expected large crowds moving throughout the city for Halloween. According to sources from the Generalitat (Catalan Government), tram lines 2, 3, and 4 will run longer than usual so that everyone who wants to go to the celebration may get home swiftly and pleasantly without having to drive their own cars.
There will be 45 trams that go from the centre of Alicante to the typical stops on the lines and back. Line 2 (Luceros-San Vicent del Raspeig) will have 14 trips, seven in each direction. The first special service will leave Luceros at 10:39 p.m. and the final will leave at 1:54 a.m. The first one will leave San Vicente at 11:09 p.m. and the last one will leave at 2:24 a.m.
Line 3 (Luceros-El Campello) will have 11 trips going out and 3 trips coming back, for a total of 14. The first train will leave Luceros at 11:19 p.m., and the last one will leave the same station at 3:04 a.m. The first train will leave El Campello at 10:10 p.m. on the way back, and the last train will leave at 11:10 p.m.
Along with these convoys, the last three Line 1 services will also be on the way back. These services leave Benidorm and usually end their journey in El Campello. They will keep going to Luceros on Saturday, stopping at all stops except Sangueta, much like Line 3 does. So, there will be six return trips to Luceros.
Line 4 (Luceros-Plaza La Coruña) will have fourteen trains, seven of which go in the other direction. The first train leaves Luceros at 10:59 p.m. and the last train leaves at 1:59 a.m. There will be seven trains leaving Plaza La Coruña, the first at 11:30 p.m. and the final at 2:30 a.m.
Please be aware that special services will not stop at the Sangueta station. Users can find out more about these services by looking at the service times at TRAM stations and stops, calling Customer Service at 900 72 04 72, going to the website www.tramalacant.es, or checking the official app.
