A man who is a YouTuber and boxer was arrested by officials from the Marbella Local Police Station. Last August, after disputing with another man, he hit him with a glass, which caused very significant neck injuries. The officers were able to find him by looking at what he was doing on social media. In addition, British officials had issued an International Arrest Warrant for him.
On August 26th, in a nightclub in Marbella, one man hit another in the neck with a glass during an argument, gravely hurting him. Because of a tear in his left internal jugular artery, the sufferer needed surgery.
The investigation was started by agents from Group II of the Local Judicial Police Brigade of the Marbella Police Station. They were able to fully identify the alleged perpetrator, who was hiding in the town of Marbella, and arrest him thanks to the analysis of social networks and police databases.
Because of what he did on social media, it was proven that the suspect had posted multiple videos of himself driving a car around the streets of Marbella. It was later confirmed that he was driving without a licence, therefore he was additionally charged with a traffic offence.
However, after checking with other countries, it was verified that the inmate was subject to an International Arrest and Extradition Order (OIDE) from the British government for a road safety offence.
After the right steps were taken, the man who was arrested was taken to court as the person who was accused of committing a crime of serious injury and a crime against road safety. The OIDE was also processed, which led to his extradition to the country that asked for it this month of October.
