Two women, ages 34 and 20, have been arrested in Granada by officers from the National Police’s Provincial Immigration and Borders Brigade for allegedly being involved in prostitution and corrupting minors. They are accused of deliberately hiring and promoting a young woman who was under 18 on dating sites. The victim was a 17-year-old girl who was the daughter and stepsister of the two woman.
According to the National Police, the stepsister, who was the stepmother’s adopted daughter, also worked as a prostitute and shared ads with the victim. Their mother, on the other hand, allegedly worked as a prostitute and made money from it.
This 34-year-old woman is also said to have shown off her money on social media. The courts have seen both women, and they have also collected a statement from the victim to keep her safe.
The mother, who was a prostitute, bragged on social media about how much money she made from her three “sex workers.”
The Immigration and Borders Brigade of the Provincial Police Station of Granada started the investigation at the end of last August as part of Operation Tocorón. They found ads on a contact website with pictures of a girl who looked very young, even like she might be a minor.
The investigation found a number of tourist flats where it was confirmed that a 34-year-old Venezuelan woman with numerous daughters and stepdaughters was in charge of a network. Two of these daughters and stepdaughters were “offering sexual services in exchange for financial remuneration.”
The 20-year-old adoptive daughter of the mother had put up advertising on the website selling these services on her own. In other ads, she was shown in pictures with a young woman whose face was always pixelated. The officers looked into this second girl more closely and found out that she was 17 years old and was obviously being forced to be a prostitute.
The two young women’s gains were supposed to go to their mother, who was said to have been a prostitute for them and a third young woman from Colombia, who was 29 years old.
The head of the group also posted on social media about the money her three “sex workers” made, which the National Police have said is clear.
