Hiker rescued by helicopter after suffering a heart attack near Font Roja in Ibi

Firefighters from the Alicante Provincial Fire Consortium used a helicopter to save a 78-year-old woman who may have had a heart attack while hiking near Font Roja, in the town of Ibi.

The Consortium said that the firefighters got the call on Friday, November 7th, at about 2:04 p.m. and sent the rescue squad to Cruz de Teixereta in Ibi.

When they found the woman, she was with a big group of hikers and got first aid. Later, she was flown to Sant Vicent Park, where she was put in an ambulance.
