Arrested for driving a delivery truck without a licence or any documentation

The police in El Campello arrested a delivery driver who was driving without a licence. When officials questioned him for his papers, they found that he had none and was in the country without permission.

This kind of behaviour is against the law for the driver, who is committing a crime against road safety, and for the company representative, who is also committing a crime by giving the driver a vehicle without a licence.

If the Ministry of Labour opens a lawsuit, the employer could have to pay a fine of between 10,000 and 100,000 euros.
