The XVII Christmas Market in Rojales is one of this weekend’s most well-known and anticipated events. Running for three days, it offers a packed schedule:
- Friday, December 5th: The weekend begins with the official inauguration ceremony and the spectacular lighting up of the town’s Christmas lights. The evening will include live musical performances and the opening of artisan and gastronomic stalls.
- Saturday, December 6th: The day will include creative and Christmas-themed workshops led by local artists from the famous Cuevas del Rodeo. A major highlight is the opportunity to try local cuisine, such as paella tastings, while watching a street parade.

Throughout the weekend, the Santa Barbara Castle, perched high above Alicante, will be offering a variety of unique experiences that combine its historic setting with local gastronomy.

The castle is open daily from 10:00am to 6:00pm. this time of the year with the last lift ride up at 5:20pm
