According to 112, which is part of the Andalusian Emergency Agency and is linked to the Ministry of Health, Presidency, and Emergencies of the Junta, two children died in a house fire that happened on Christmas Day morning, Thursday December 25th, in the Malaga municipality of Alhaurín El Grande.
According to the emergency services, several individuals called the 112 emergency line at 8:00 a.m. to report a fire in a residence on Calle San Rafael where people were trapped.
The coordination room called the Guardia Civil, the Health Emergency Centre (CES) 061, the Local Police, and the Provincial Consortium Firefighters. They sent firefighters from the Coín and Alhaurín de la Torre fire stations.
Emergency responders told 112 that two children died, but they haven’t said who.
The fire also caused a lot of damage to the two-storey house, even causing the roof to fall in.
