The shopping centre that TM Grupo Inmobiliario is building in Lagoons Village, the big residential project it is promoting in the La Hoya district of Torrevieja, is moving forward. The facility is becoming one of the most important features of the new urban development, which will have more than 7,000 dwellings, more than 1,700 of which will be developed by the developer.
The shopping centre will be built on a 6,832-square-meter property and will have about 4,000 square metres of floor area spread out over two higher stories and a bottom floor. There will be 11 shops on the ground level and 29 offices on the upper floors. According to people at the company, the project is already doing well, with more than half of the units now rented out and only one ground-floor unit left.

Some of the areas will be set aside for services that are only available in the complex, like the TM customer service office and a restaurant area. The company says that the commercial interest comes from Lagoons Village’s gradual consolidation, its excellent transport options, and the fact that there weren’t many shops and services in this part of Torrevieja before.
The centre is meant to bring together ordinary businesses that are easy to access to, like a café-restaurant, pharmacy, sports centre, professional offices, service offices, and small stores. The goal is to address the demands of both existing and future residents through a phased commercial development approach. They haven’t said yet what the names of the businesses that will be there will be.
The retail spaces and offices will be handed over in February 2026, which is in accordance with the overall project schedule. Also, the sports centre next door will open in the next few weeks for residents of Lagoons Village, which will make the development’s leisure, sports, and service offerings even better.
