On Saturday, January 3rd, firefighters from the Alicante Provincial Consortium saved a man who had been in an accident and was stuck in the rocky area of Finestrat Cove in Alicante.
The Consortium said that the rescue, which happened between 3:20 p.m. and 6:12 p.m., was done on land, with firefighters using ropes to get to the accident scene.

But the injured man, who was from England, was later brought to the hospital in Villajoyosa by boat.
A command unit (UMJ) and a heavy urban pump (BUP) are on the scene with a sergeant, a corporal, and four firefighters from the Benidorm fire station.
