According to the Emergency Information and Coordination Centre (Cicu), a 66-year-old woman and a 76-year-old man were hurt after a camping gas explosion happened in a motorhome in El Campello.
The Cicu got word of this event at about 11:51 a.m. yesterday, Tuesday January 6th. It happened at a campsite on Calle Doctor Severo Ochoa.

The woman had second-degree burns on her legs, hands, and face. An ambulance took her to the Alicante General Hospital. The man, who has burns on his hands, was taken to the San Juan Hospital by Basic Life Support (BLS).
