Due to the lack of reserves in Murcian hospitals, the Regional Blood Donation Centre has once again urged people to donate blood, particularly types O+, O-, A+, and B-.
While A- and AB-donors can contribute in two or three days and the remaining B+ and AB+-donors on a regular basis, the levels are more crucial for these blood types, for which the Centre is urgently requesting donations.
Donors must be between the ages of 18 and 65, weigh more than 50 kg, be in excellent health, live in Spain, and not have anaemia.
Those who are interested can do so until 8:30 p.m. at the Regional Centre, Paseo de Garay, 2 in Murcia, and from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Santa María del Rosell Hospital in Cartagena.
