The City of Orihuela has put out to bid the contract to fix up and prepare a municipal building in the city so that it may be used more easily for public services.
The local government’s official announcement says that the tender includes extensive instructions for bringing the chosen building up to code, fixing structural problems, updating installations, and making sure that it meets all current safety and accessibility standards. The tender also encompasses any necessary work to safeguard historically significant architectural features.
The tender process has started with an open procedure, which is required by law for public procurement. Companies that are interested can submit bids within the set time range. The winner will be announced once all offers have been evaluated.
Council officials stressed that this project is part of a larger plan to invest in the city’s public infrastructure in order to make public facilities better. It comes after other recent projects in the neighbourhood, such as fixing up old buildings and health centres.
